Omni Report is an generative AI feature that converts free-form dictation into findings, automatically placing them into relevant sections of the report and generating an impression.
Radiologists can keep their eyes on images while dictating findings—in any order—into the Omni Box. When you use the voice command “Omni Report,” these findings are automatically inserted into the corresponding sections of a structured report with correct punctuation and formatting.

How Omni Report works
Omni Report is designed for comprehensive report generation. Under the hood, Omni Report:
- Parses out each individual finding in the Omni Box.
- Analyzes the language to match each finding to a relevant section of the report.
- Populates the report, including the impression.
Key capabilities
- Populates all report sections from a single, free-form dictation
- Ensures structured formatting and standardized language
- Replaces picklists with relevant findings
- Removes contradictory negative language
- Uses blue text to visually distinguish AI-inserted content from dictated and typed text
When to use
- You're starting a new report from scratch.
- You want the AI to generate all sections at once.

Frequently asked questions
What are the limitations of Omni Report?
As with any AI feature, the model powering Omni Report is not 100% accurate. We expect the model to make errors in a minority of cases, such as inserting a finding into the wrong section. You can help enhance our model by providing feedback.
Does Omni Report work with picklists?
Omni Report does not attempt to make picklist selections. Instead, picklists are replaced by any relevant findings—inserting the content as dictated.
However, Omni Report does not work with sections that include both a picklist and free text (or another picklist) within the same section.
See Template creation best practices for Omni AI features for more information.
Does Omni Report work with comparison and history fields?
Not currently.
Can I insert additional findings into the Omni Box and use it multiple times?
Yes, the feature will insert new findings from the Omni Box into the existing report, including any previously-inserted findings or modifications to the current report.
Can I use Omni Report for mammography reports?
Omni Report can be used with most types of templated reports, but isn't recommended for mammography workflows, which are more strictly structured and regulated.
