Overview
Priors are previously finalized reports for a patient, accessible within the reporting workbench and used for comparison when completing a new report. The Priors view provides radiologists with a structured summary of each prior report and the study it was based on.
In addition, radiologists can select a relevant prior report as the comparison and dictate just the changed findings into the Omni Box. The Omni Unchanged feature will merge findings from the prior report with the newly-dictated changes and automatically insert them into the relevant sections of the current report. This saves time by removing the need to re-dictate the entire report. Learn more about Omni Unchanged.
Viewing priors
In the Priors view, you can see all previous reports on studies that have been completed for a patient.
- Go to Reports, search for the report you want to open, and double-click it. Or type the report’s accession number into the search bar at the top of the page.
-
In the report that opens, click on the Priors view.
- Select the prior report that you want to reference for comparison. You can review the report’s contents on the right-hand side of the Priors view.
💡 Don’t see the Priors view in your report workbench? Go to your profile > Personal Settings > Workbench > Enabled Views and make sure the Priors toggle is turned on.
If the Priors view is visible but isn’t displaying any prior reports, it may be because:
- There are no prior reports for the patient.
- There was an issue importing studies for the patient. Contact support@radai.com.
From here, you can dictate any changes in the findings. Then use the Omni Unchanged feature to merge them with findings from the prior report and automatically insert them into the corresponding sections of the current report. Learn how to use Omni Unchanged.
