Prerequisites
To delete reports and addendums, make sure:Â
- You’ve been assigned a role that has the Delete Report permission enabled. The “Admin”, Radiologist”, and “Assistant” default roles have this permission enabled by default. Learn more about roles and permissions.
 - You’re set as the finalizing or a contributing author for the draft report/addendum you want to delete. If you wish to delete a draft report for which you’re not the finalizing author, you must first acquire the report.Â
 - The report/addendum is in “draft” status. It’s not possible to delete reports in any other status, such as “signed” or “finalized”.Â
Deleting a draft report/addendumÂ
- While in a draft report/addendum, click the drop-down arrow next to the Sign button to reveal report actions.
 - Click Delete Report or Delete Addendum, then click Delete to confirm.

The draft will be deleted.Â
- If you deleted a draft report, it will revert to a study in “completed” status in Reports > Worklists (or Reports > All studies if you’re using the new, redesigned report lists).Â
 - If you deleted a draft addendum, the report will be retained in “finalized” status in report lists.

Viewing a deleted draft report/addendum (all users)
- Select Reports from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side.Â
 - From a report list, open a study that had a now-deleted report/addendum.

Go to the Activity view in the reporting workbench.
đź’ˇ Make sure the “Activity” view is enabled in Personal Settings > Workbench > Enabled views. Learn how to enable workbench views.Â
- Locate the event: {user} deleted a report/addendum.
 - Under the event, click Exit and view report/addendum. You will be taken out of the current study and into the deleted report/addendum in read-only state.Â

Viewing a deleted draft report/addendum (admins)
- Select Admin > Report Manager from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side.Â
 - Open a study from the list that had a now-deleted report/addendum.
 - Click the Activity view in the reporting workbench.
 - Locate the event: {user} deleted a report/addendum.
 - Under the event, click View report/addendum. You will be taken out of the Report Manager and into the deleted report/addendum in read-only state.Â

Troubleshooting
Why don’t I see the delete button while in a report/addendum?
To delete a report/addendum, the following must be true:
- You’ve been assigned a role that has the Delete Report permission enabled.
- You’re set as the finalizing or a contributing author for the draft report/addendum you want to delete.
- The report/addendum is in “draft” status.

Frequently asked questions
Can I delete multiple draft reports/addendums?
Yes, you can bulk delete your own draft reports/addendums. Select Reports > Drafts from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side. Use the checkboxes on the left-hand side to select the drafts you want to delete, click Delete selected, then click Confirm.Â

Can I use a voice command to delete a draft report/addendum?
Yes, as long as the prerequisites have been met. While in the report you want to delete and with the microphone activated, say "Delete report" or "Discard report". Learn more about voice commands.
