Overview
The Reports page lets you review reports received by Rad AI Continuity and inspect their details, including the rendered report and raw text.
Reports displays completed exams received by Rad AI Continuity through your organization's configured HL7 data feed. Reports that are not sent to Rad AI Continuity—such as reports received only by fax or PDF, or reports excluded by integration filtering rules—do not appear in Reports.
You can also create an entry from a report, allowing it to be tracked via Rad AI Continuity’s worklists. This is especially useful when a report does not create a corresponding entry, since entries are created only when Rad AI’s detection model identifies a finding with a follow-up recommendation.
To access the Reports page, select Reports from the main navigation menu at the top.
Searching reports by accession, MRN, or patient name
Use search to instantly find entries by accession number, medical record number (MRN), or patient name (first and/or last).
- Click the drop-down next to the Search button and select the property by which you’d like to search:
- Accession number
- MRN
-
Patient Name
- Click the search bar, enter your search term, then press Enter or click the Search button.
Filtering reports
You can filter by report ID, exam date, and more to narrow down the list of reports.
- Click the filter icon next to the Search button.
-
Select the property by which you’d like to filter, then enter a value. The “Exam Date (from)” and “Exam Date (to)” properties allow you to pick a date from the calendar.
💡 Click X to clear a filter, either from the filter menu itself or underneath the search field next to Active filters.
- Click Search. The filtered results appear in the reports table.
Understanding the reports table
The reports table includes columns that help you identify each report and understand whether it led to follow-up activity in Rad AI Continuity:
-
Order number: The order number associated with the report, if one was included in the source data.
-
Patient class: The patient’s care setting for that report, such as “Inpatient”, “Outpatient”, “Emergency”, or “Unknown”.
-
Provider NPI and ID: The ordering provider identifiers included on the report. Provider NPI shows the provider’s National Provider Identifier, and Provider ID shows the provider’s employee ID, if available.
-
Status: The current status of the report, e.g., “F” for “finalized” or “A” for “Addendum”.
-
Has rec: Indicates whether Rad AI’s detection model found a follow-up recommendation in the report. If a recommendation is detected, Rad AI Continuity will attempt to create an entry. If not, no entry is created from that report. Learn more about entries.
-
Created date: The date the report was imported to Rad AI Continuity.
Hiding/showing report table columns
You can choose to hide or show specific columns in the reports table. For example, you may wish to hide “Provider NPI” and “Provider ID”.
- Click the columns icon on the right-hand side of the reports table.
- Select the columns you want to show, and deselect the columns you want to hide. The reports table will update as you make changes.
-
Click out of the menu to finish editing and see the updated table.
💡 Your settings will be retained—even if you navigate elsewhere or log out of Rad AI Continuity.

Viewing and understanding entries for a report
At the bottom of the report details page, you can review the Entries section to see whether any entries have been created for that report. If entries exist, they appear in a table. Here are some of the table columns explained:
-
Worklist status: Shows whether the entry currently appears in a Rad AI Continuity worklist.
- If the worklist status is Visible, the entry is currently shown in worklists, and clicking Visible opens the Patient View for that entry.
- If the worklist status is Not visible, it is due to one or more of the following reasons:
- The finding type is disabled by your organization
- The finding type is invalid due to a model issue
- The patient class is disabled by your organization
- The due date falls before your organization's visible date range
- No exam date was received for this report
- If the worklist status is Visible, the entry is currently shown in worklists, and clicking Visible opens the Patient View for that entry.
-
Created by: Shows how the entry was created—“Continuity” if it was created automatically by the system, or the name of the user who created the entry if it was created manually.
-
Reason for manual creation: If the entry was created manually, this field shows the reason selected at the time of creation.
-
Manual creation note: If a note was added when the entry was created manually, it appears here.
Manually creating an entry from a report
If a report did not create an entry automatically, you can create one manually from the report details page.
- In Reports, click the report you want to open.
- Under Entries, click Create entry.
- In the Create new entry dialog, review the finding details and define the following:
- Anatomy (required)
- Category
- Subcategory
-
Earliest and latest follow-up dates
- (Required) Under Reason for manual entry creation, select the reason that best matches why you are creating the entry manually.
- (Optional) Use the Note field to document additional context.
-
Click Create Entry. The entry appears on the report details page, in the “Entries” section.
💡 Your entry may still be hidden from worklists, depending on your organization’s configuration. See information on “Not visible” entries in Viewing and understanding entries for a report.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Reports page for?
The Reports page lists all reports imported into Rad AI Continuity—including raw and structured representations—so users can better understand how a report was ingested, and whether it led to an entry being created in Rad AI Continuity worklists.
When exactly are reports added to Rad AI Continuity?
Reports are added in real time, as soon as they're received by Rad AI Continuity. Refresh the Reports page to see the current state.
Why don’t I see any entries for a report?
If no entries have been created based on the report’s accession number, the Entries section of the report details page shows no entries. Rad AI Continuity’s detection model did not identify any findings and follow-up recommendations in the report.
In some cases, a technical issue may have prevented Rad AI Continuity from creating an entry even though a finding was detected. To rectify, you can manually create an entry from a report.
Why was an entry created for a report but hidden from worklists?
If an entry was created but does not appear in worklists (marked “Not visible” in the Entries table on the report details page), the entry is hidden because of one or more conditions on the report or detected finding.
This can happen when:
- The finding type is disabled by your organization
- The finding type is invalid due to a model issue
- The patient class is disabled by your organization
- The due date falls before your organization’s visible date range
- No exam date was received for the report
Can I create an entry if there is no report in Reports?
No. Entries can currently be created only from reports that have been received and processed by Rad AI Continuity.
If a report was not sent to Rad AI Continuity—for example, because it was received as a fax or PDF, or because it was excluded from your organization's data feed—it will not appear in Reports and cannot be used to create an entry.
