Prerequisites
- Access to Rad AI Reporting through either:
- A supported browser (Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome)
- The desktop application
- A registered microphone connected to your computer.
Please contact your on-site IT team with questions about the desktop app, login credentials, and associated errors.
Open a report and apply a template
- Select Worklist from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side.
- Select a study to open it.

Go to the Templates view (located at the bottom-right of the report editor by default).
💡 If your site administrator has set up template auto-launch rules for this study's procedure code, a template will be applied automatically. In which case you can skip this section, or continue reading to learn how to change templates.
- To apply the template to the report, do one of the following:
- Turn on your microphone and say the voice command: “template [name/custom phrase]”.

In the Templates view, use the search bar or scroll through the list to find and your desired template. Then click the + icon.
💡 Can't see your template in the list? You may need to subscribe to the relevant template collection. Click the filter icon next to to the search bar to bring up a list of available template collections. Select a collection to subscribe, then click out of the filter dialog to close it.
- Turn on your microphone and say the voice command: “template [name/custom phrase]”.

Dictate using Omni Report
Navigate the report using voice commands, hardware buttons, or keyboard hotkeys.
Alternatively, use the AI-powered Omni Report feature to turn free-form dictation into findings, automatically placing them into relevant sections of the report and generating an impression.
Here's how to use Omni Report:
- Say “Omni box” or press the stop/play button on your microphone to switch focus to the Omni box. When highlighted blue, the Omni Box is in focus and ready to capture dictation.
- Dictate some observations and findings into the Omni box.

Once done, say the command "Omni Report" or click the Report button to populate the report and generate an impression.
💡 You can also assign a hardware button or keyboard hotkey to run the Omni Report command. - Review the generated impression and template insertions. Edit as needed, or return to the Omni box to add more findings and run Omni Report again.

Close the report
In the report editor toolbar, do one of the following:
- Click Draft to save the report in its current state and return to your worklist.
- Click Sign to finalize the report.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to the Sign button and select:

Ready for Review to hand the report over to the assigned finalizing author.

Sign Preliminary Report to sign the report, marking the findings as preliminary.

Delete Report to permanently remove the report from the system. Learn more.
